Spider veins are a very common occurrence and most people feel that these visible veins detract from their appearance. However, with a quick and easy laser vein treatment, there is no longer a reason you must live with this condition.
Spider veins can be treated effectively with laser therapy and typically disappear after treatment within a period of 4-6 weeks.
Treatment Overview
Laser technology now permits the safe and effective removal of spider veins on the legs, face and nose. Laser vein therapy is surprisingly easy, fast and effective. The laser light heats the vein without burning the skin above. The laser will shoot a concentrated beam of light through your surface skin that is preferentially absorbed by the hemoglobin in the vein. As the vein is heated (a process that occurs in 1/20th of a second), the walls of the vein collapse and thus blood flow is stopped.

What is Recovery Like?
Most patients report little if any discomfort. Bruises that may appear around the treated area usually disappear after the first week. Some crusting or pigment may take longer. You are encouraged to resume normal activities immediately.

Your final results may not be apparent for several months, as it takes time for the body to absorb the collapsed veins. More than one treatment session may be required, depending on your condition and desired results.
